問訊（下音辛進反蒼頡篇云訊亦問也毛詩箋云訊言也說文從言從卂卂亦聲也卂音迅也經文作訙俗字非正字也）。

Wen-xun (問訊) (The second character has the fanqie xin + jin. The Cangjiepian says: 'Xun (訊) also means to inquire.' The Mao Poetry Commentaries says: 'Xun (訊) means words.' The Shuowen says: 'It derives from yan (言, speech) and xun (卂); xun (卂) is also the phonetic component.' Xun (卂) has the pronunciation of xun (迅). The sūtra text writes it as 訙, which is a vulgar character and not the standard character).
