Jin-huan (筋緩) (The first character has the fanqie jin + yin. The Shuowen says: 'Sinews (筋) are the strength of the flesh. It derives from zhu (竹, bamboo), as bamboo is a thing with many sinews.' The sūtra writes it as 䈥, which is a vulgar character. The second character has the fanqie hu + guan. Zheng [Xuan]'s commentary on the Kaogongji says: 'Huan (緩) means loose.' The Erya says: 'It means relaxed.' Jia [Kui]'s commentary on the Guoyu says: 'It means tardy.' The Shuowen says: 'It derives from mi (糸); mi has the pronunciation mi (覓). Yuan (爰) is the phonetic component; yuan has the pronunciation yuan (袁)').
