其頟（五格反方言頟顙也說文從頁音頡各聲經文從客作額俗字也）。

其頟 [His forehead]: [頟 is pronounced with the fanqie] 五 + 格 [é]. The Fangyan states: '頟 means the forehead (shǎng).' The Shuowen jiezi says it is derived from 頁 (pronounced jié) with 各 phonetic. The sūtra text writes it with 客 as 額, which is a vulgar character.
