痛劇（擎戟反顧野王云劇甚也謂更甚於前也古今正字從刀豦音巨聲也經作劇字非也）。

痛劇 [Extreme pain]: [劇 is pronounced with the fanqie] 擎 + 戟 [jí]. Gu Yewang states: '劇 means severe, signifying even more severe than before.' The Gujin zhengzi says it is derived from 刀 with 豦 (pronounced jù) phonetic. In the sūtra it is written as 劇, which is incorrect.
