樓櫓（上魯侯反下盧覩反說文樓重屋也櫓大盾也考聲云皆城上拒戰也二字並從木形聲字也魯字從魚從白俗從曰非也）。

樓櫓 (first character, fanqie: 魯 + 侯 [lóu]; second character, fanqie: 盧 + 覩 [lǔ]. The Shuowen jiezi states: 'A 樓 is a multi-story building; a 櫓 is a large shield.' The Kaosheng states: 'Both are used atop city walls to resist in battle.' Both characters have the radical 木 and are phono-semantic characters. The character 魯 consists of 魚 and 白; the vulgar form with 曰 is incorrect.)
