[(殼-一)/手]捋（上鈎候反字指云[(殼-一)/手]取牛羊乳也從手從彀省聲也彀音同上或有從羊作[愨-心+羊]或從牛作𤛓皆誤非也從手為正經文作搆非本字下鸞括反毛詩傳曰捋取也說文捋音律曷也從手寽聲乎也）。

To milk ([(殼-一)/手]捋: the first character is gōu + hòu fanqie. The Zizhi says: "[(殼-一)/手] means taking milk from cows or sheep; it takes the radical 手 and has an abbreviated 彀 as phonetic." 彀 is pronounced the same as above. Some write it with the radical 羊 as [愨-心+羊], or with the radical 牛 as 𤛓, both of which are incorrect; taking the radical 手 is the correct form. In the sūtra text written as 搆, which is not the original character. The second character is luán + guò fanqie. The Mao Shi commentary says: "捋 means to take." The Shuowen says: "捋 is pronounced lù + hé fanqie; it takes the radical 手 and has 寽 as phonetic").
