姝妍（上昌朱反鄭箋毛詩云姝美色也方言云趙魏之間謂好為姝說文好也從女朱聲也下霓堅反廣雅妍好也說文忮也從女幵聲也幵音牽從竝二干也）。

Lovely and beautiful (姝妍: the first character is chāng + zhū fanqie. Zheng's commentary on the Mao Shi says: "姝 means beautiful countenance." The Fangyan says: "In the region of Zhao and Wei, 'fine' is called 姝." The Shuowen says: "Fine; it takes the radical 女 and has 朱 as phonetic." The second character is ní + jiān fanqie. The Guangya says: "妍 means fine." The Shuowen says: "Jealous/clever; it takes the radical 女 and has 幵 as phonetic." 幵 is pronounced qiān, composed of two side-by-side 干).
