傍蟹（下諧芥反說文云蟹有二𩪋𩪋手也八足旁行非蛇蟺之穴無所庇者也從虫解聲也𩪋音敖蟺音善蛇也）。

Sideways crab (傍蟹: the second character is xié + jiè fanqie. The Shuowen says: "Crabs have two pinchers (𩪋)—𩪋 means hands—and eight legs, walking sideways; without the burrows of snakes and eels they have nowhere to shelter. It takes the radical 虫 and has 解 as phonetic." 𩪋 is pronounced áo; 蟺 is pronounced shàn, a kind of snake).
