Holding hands (攜手: for the first character, the fanqie is 惠 + 圭. Gu Yewang says: "𢹂 means to hold." He [Xiu's] commentary on the Gongyang zhuan says: "𢹂 means to lead by the hand." Meng [Kang's] commentary on the Hanshu says: "To connect." The Shuowen says: "Formed from [the semantic component] 手 and the phonetic component 嶲." The sound of 嶲 is the same as above.)
