狎下（上咸甲反杜注左傳狎人之習附也孔注尚書狎近也說文從犬甲聲經作狹非也）。

狎下 [Intimate with inferiors]: The upper character is [pronounced with the fanqie] 咸 + 甲 [xiá]. Du's commentary to the Zuozhuan states: '狎 is the habitual familiarity and closeness of people.' Kong's commentary to the Shangshu states: '狎 means to be close to.' The Shuowen jiezi says it is derived from 犬 with 甲 phonetic. The sūtra writes it as 狹, which is incorrect.
