徃短（端管反蒼頡篇短促也說文不長也從矢從豆經從手作𢭃俗字）。

徃短 [Going to shortcomings]: [短 is pronounced with the fanqie] 端 + 管 [duǎn]. The Cangjie pian states: '短 means brief.' The Shuowen jiezi says: 'Not long.' It is derived from 矢 and 豆. The sūtra writes it with 手 as 𢭃, which is a vulgar character.
