鈇㩫（方于反說文莝斫也莝音倉臥反公羊傳曰不忍加之鈇質何休曰斬腰之罪也蒼頡篇鈇椹也亦橫斧也案橫斧者如莝對下之逸反埤蒼[桵-女+貝]椹也經作鎮非也）。

鈇㩫 (Fanqie 方 + 于. The Shuowen says: "A fodder chopper." 莝 is fanqie 倉 + 臥. The Gongyang zhuan says: "He could not bear to apply the executioner's axe and block to him." He Xiu says: "The punishment of cutting in half at the waist." The Cang Jie Pian says: "鈇 is an executioner's block; it is also a broad-bladed axe." Note: A broad-bladed axe is like a fodder chopper. The second character is fanqie 逸. The Picang says: "A [chopping] block." In the sūtra text it is written as 鎮, which is incorrect).
