孕婦（古文𣎜同餘證反說文褱子也廣雅孕㑗也謂任孕子也含實曰孕也字從子從乃也）。

孕婦 (The ancient-script character is 𣎜; the pronunciation is the same, with the fanqie *y[ú] + [zh]èng*. The Shuowen jiezi states: "Carrying a child in the womb." The Guangya states: "*Yun* means pregnancy; it refers to conceiving and bearing a child." Enclosing fruit/substance is called *yun*. The character is analyzed as semantic 子 ('child') and semantic 乃).
