繚綟（上聊鳥反顧野王云繚猶繞也說文云纏也從糸尞聲下憐涅反考聲云綟猶結紐也亦繚綟紛糺皃也古今正字從糸戾聲經作繚戾俗字也正糺字也）。

Tangled and knotted (繚綟: the first character has the fanqie 聊鳥. Gu Yewang says: 繚 [liáo] is like entwining. Shuowen says: To wrap around; classified under "silk" with the sound of 尞 [liáo]. The second character has the fanqie 憐涅. Kaosheng says: 綟 [liè] is like tying a knot; it also describes an entangled and disordered appearance. Gujin zhengzi: Classified under "silk" with the sound of 戾 [lì]. The sūtra text writing 繚戾 is a vulgar character; the standard is the entwined character 綟).
