夷滅（餘之反左傳芟夷杜預曰夷殺也亦毀也廣雅夷滅也）。

夷滅 ('exterminated and wiped out'): The fanqie is [y- + u >] yú and [zh- + i >] zhī. The Zuozhuan says: 'Weeded and eradicated (芟夷).' Du Yu says: '夷 means to kill; it also means to destroy.' The Guangya says: '夷 means to annihilate.'
