蝸蠃（上寡華反爾雅蝸牛也經從累作螺俗字也下魯和反爾雅海介蟲也形如蝸牛而大白色說文從䖝𣎆聲音同上）。

Snails (蝸蠃): The upper character is gua plus hua fan. The Erya says: 'Woniu (land snail).' The scripture follows [the phonetic] lei (累) to write luo (螺), which is a popular form. The lower character is lu plus he fan. The Erya says: 'A marine shelled invertebrate; shaped like a land snail but larger and white.' The Shuowen states: 'Takes "insect" (䖝), with luo (𣎆) for sound, pronounced the same as above.'
