贖之（常欲反俗字也王肅注尚書云出金贖罪也考聲云輸物以免罪也以財賞直也說文[贖-士+出]賈也從𧷓𧷓音育）。

贖之 (To redeem it: The fanqie is 常欲 [shú]. This is a popular character. Wang Su's commentary on the Shangshu says: 'Paying gold to redeem oneself from punishment.' The Kaosheng says: 'Providing goods to be exempt from guilt; to pay value with wealth.' The Shuowen says: '[贖-士+出] means to buy. It has the radical 𧷓, which has the pronunciation 育 [yù].')
