撓撈（上好高反廣雅云撓亂也聲類云攪也說文從手堯聲下老刀反方言云撈取也郭璞注云撈鉤勞也考聲云漉取也古今之正字從手勞聲）。

撓撈 ('stirring and scooping up'; the first character is pronounced with the fanqie 好 + 高. The Guangya says: "'Nao' (撓) means to disrupt." The Shenglei says: "It means to stir." The Shuowen says it is formed from [the radical] 手 with 堯 as the phonetic component. The second character is pronounced with the fanqie 老 + 刀. The Fangyan says: "'Lao' (撈) means to take." Guo Pu's commentary says: "'Lao' means to hook or haul." The Kaosheng says: "It means to strain and scoop up." The orthodox character past and present is formed from [the radical] 手 with 勞 as the phonetic component).
