蜚蛾（上音非郭注爾雅云蜚即負盤臭虫也杜注左傳云蜚亦蠜也顧野王云負蠜蜚也說文從虫非聲）。

蜚蛾 ('cockroaches and moths'; the first character has the sound 非 [fēi]. Guo [Pu's] commentary on the Erya says: "'Fei' (蜚) is the stinkbug called 'fupan' (負盤)." Du [Yu's] commentary on the Zuo zhuan says: "'Fei' is also the 'fan' (蠜)." Gu Yewang says: "The 'fupan' is the 'fei'." The Shuowen says it is formed from [the radical] 虫 with 非 as the phonetic component).
