世福(下風伏反禮記福者備也太玄經云人道所喜曰福毛詩箋云爵命為福說文從示畐音逼聲經從示作[示*(二/口/子)]字書撿尋都無音釋之處也)。
世福 ('worldly blessings'; the second character is pronounced with the fanqie 風 + 伏. The Liji says: "'Fu' (福) means completeness." The Taixuanjing says: "What human nature delights in is called 'fu'." The commentary on the Mao Shijing says: "Ranks and mandates constitute 'fu'." The Shuowen says it is formed from [the radical] 示 with 畐—pronounced 逼—as the phonetic component. The sūtra writes it with 示 as [示*(二/口/子)]; searching through character dictionaries yields no phonetic or semantic explanation for it anywhere).
