聾聵（下頑怪反賈注國語云生聾曰聵說文從耳貴聲也）。

聾聵 ('deaf and hard of hearing'; the second character is pronounced with the fanqie 頑 + 怪. Jia [Kui's] commentary on the Guoyu says: "Being born deaf is called 'kui' (聵)." The Shuowen says it is formed from [the radical] 耳 with 貴 as the phonetic component).
