創孔（古文戧刃二形今作創同初良反說文創傷也禮記頭有創則沐是也又音楚亮反創始也非今所取今皆作瘡近字耳）。

Wound aperture (創孔; in ancient script 戧 and 刃 are two forms, now written 創, both fanqie: 初 + 良 [chuāng]; the Shuowen says: "創 means a wound"; the Liji says: "If there is a wound on the head, one washes the hair", which exemplifies this; also fanqie: 楚 + 亮 [chuàng], which means beginning, not the intended meaning here; nowadays it is commonly written 瘡, which is a recent character).
