嚻動（上香妖反鄭注周禮云嚻諠也說文嚻動不安靜也器出頭也從頁頁頭也從器省聲也故云器出頭也頁音頡也）。

嚻動: The first character is pronounced 香 + 妖 fanqie. Zheng [Xuan]’s commentary on the Zhouli says: “嚻 means clamorous.” The Shuowen says: “嚻 means restless and agitated; vessels protruding above the head. It is formed from 頁 (which means head) with a reduced form of 器 as phonetic; hence it says ‘vessels protruding above the head.’ 頁 is pronounced like 頡.”
