吠舍釐國（釐音离古名毘舍離亦名毘耶離皆訛也此國有維摩詰居士故宅及說法處方丈室靈跡頗多及鹿女千子神迹七百羅漢結集聖教處等）。

吠舍釐國: 釐 is pronounced like 离. Anciently called Vaiśālī (毘舍離) or Viyālī (毘耶離), which are both corruptions. In this country are the former residence of the householder Vimalakīrti and the ten-foot-square chamber where he preached the Dharma; spiritual traces are very numerous, as well as the miraculous trace of the deer woman's thousand sons, and the place where seven hundred arhats compiled the sacred teachings.
