扇搋半擇迦（梵語也此譯為黃門上搋音勅加反次擇音宅下迦音居佉反黃門者為男根不備設有備者亦不能生子其類有五具如音義第三卷中已具列不能繁敘）。

扇搋半擇迦 (ṣaṇḍha-paṇḍaka: Sanskrit words; translated here as huángmén (eunuchs). The character chāi (搋) is [pronounced with the fanqie] 勅加; next, zhái (擇) is [pronounced] 宅; the character jiā (迦) is [pronounced with the fanqie] 居佉. 'Eunuchs' refers to those whose male organ is deficient; even if they have one complete, they still cannot father children.
