癲癎（上丁堅反廣雅癲狂也毛詩箋曰癲病也聲類云癲風病也或作瘨亦作蹎下音閑集訓云小兒瘨病也說文云風病也從疒女厄反從間聲也或作𤺛亦通也）。

癲癎 (epilepsy and convulsions: the first character is [pronounced with the fanqie] 丁堅. The Guangya says: 'Diān (癲) means madness.' The Mao recension gloss to the Classic of Poetry says: 'Diān means illness.' The Shenglei says: 'Diān is a wind disorder.' It is also written as 瘨 or 蹎. The second character has the pronunciation 閑. The Jixun says: 'Convulsive disorder in young children.' The Shuowen jiezi says: 'A wind illness; it derives from 疒 [女厄] with 間 as phonetic.' It is also written as 𤺛, which is also acceptable.)
