蟣蝨（上居擬反說文云蝨子也韻英云蝨卵也即短反下所乙反字要云衣中嚙人䖝也說文蝨字從卂音信從䖵音昆今經文相傳從半風作虱者非也）。

蟣蝨 (nits and lice: the first character is [pronounced with the fanqie] 居擬. The Shuowen jiezi says: 'A young louse.' The Yunying says: 'A louse egg; [pronounced with the fanqie] 即短.' The second character is [pronounced with the fanqie] 所乙. The Ziyao says: 'Insects in clothes that bite humans.' The Shuowen jiezi says: 'The character shī (蝨) derives from 卂 [信] and from 䖵 [昆].' The form 虱 traditionally written in present sūtra texts with half of 風 is incorrect.)
