誣罔（上武扶反杜注左傳誣欺也鄭注禮記妄也謚法曰於事不信曰誣考聲枉也說文加也從言巫聲也下無昉反象形字俗作冈）。

誣罔 ("to falsely accuse and deceive": the upper character has the fanqie 武扶 [wū]. Du's commentary to the Zuozhuan says: "Wū means to deceive." Zheng's commentary to the Liji says: "Delusion." The Shifa says: "Not being trustworthy in affairs is called wū." Kaosheng says: "Crooked." Shuowen says: "To fabricate." It is composed of 言 with 巫 as the phonetic. The lower character has the fanqie 無昉 [wǎng]; it is a pictographic character, popularly written as 冈.)
