乞匃（下垓艾反顧野王云匃亦乞也考聲云求也古今正字云人亾財則乞匃故說文從人從亾會意字也上是古今字）。

Begging for alms (the second character is gài in fanqie from gāi and ài; Gu Yewang states that gài also means to beg; the Kaosheng says it means to seek; the Gujin zhengzi states: when a person has lost their property, they beg; hence the Shuowen has it take the person and perish radicals; it is an ideogrammic compound; the first is an ancient-modern character variant).
