反旆而歸（裴妹反爾雅繼旐曰旆郭璞曰帛續旐末為㷼尾者杜注左傳云軍門前大旗也說文云繼旐之旗沛然垂下從於從市省聲也）。

Turned their pennants and returned [反旆而歸] (The fanqie pei + mei. The Erya says: "Streamers attached to a banner are called pei." Guo Pu says: "Silk ribbons continuing from the end of a banner into a swallowtail shape." Du [Yu's] commentary on the Zuo zhuan says: "The great banner in front of the army gate." The Shuowen says: "A banner continuing from streamers, hanging down abundantly; classified under radical yan [於] with an abbreviated shi [市] phonetic.")
