若𪍑（昌沼反廣雅𪍑食也埤蒼云𩱈麥麵也文字集略煼麥屑也或煼米作衛宏或作[麩-夫+少]古今正字從麥酋聲律文作[麩-夫+少]俗字也）。

Ruò chǎo 若𪍑 (or parched grain; [chǎo is] pronounced with the fanqie chāng + zhǎo. The Guangya says: 'Chǎo is food.' The Picang says: 'Flour of parched wheat.' The Wenzi jilüe says: 'Scraps of parched wheat.' Alternatively made from parched rice. Wei Hong sometimes wrote it as [麩-夫+少]. The Gujin zhengzi derives it from mài 麥 with qiú 酋 as phonetic. In the Vinaya text it is written as [麩-夫+少], a popular character).
