Vulgar familiarity (the second character is xiè in fanqie from xiān and jié; Kong's Commentary on the Shangshu states that xiè means disrespectful and irreverent, denoting improper intimacy; the Shuowen says dú also means disrespectful; it takes the woman radical with yè as phonetic; dú is pronounced dú, and yè is pronounced dié).
