顧眄（下眠遍反方言云秦晉之間以視為眄說文眄邪視也從目丐聲也丐音同上）。

To glance sidelong (顧眄): For the second character, the fanqie is 眠 (m-) plus 遍 (-ian). The Fangyan states that in the regions between Qin and Jin, 'to look' is called 眄. The Shuowen jiezi states that 眄 means to look askance; it is formed with the eye radical (目) and 丐 as the phonetic element, with 丐 having the same pronunciation as above.
