鉤紐（上苟侯反律文從巾作恂亦通賈注國語云鉤帶鉤也說文鉤曲也下女九反說文云紐糸也納結也袈裟鉤紉也）。

Clasp and loop (the first character has the fanqie gou + hou; the Vinaya text writes it with cloth [巾] as 恂, which is also acceptable; Jia [Kui]'s commentary on the Guoyu says: "鉤 [gōu] is a belt-hook." The Shuowen says: "鉤 means curved." The second character has the fanqie nü + jiu; the Shuowen says: "紐 [niǔ] is a cord; it means joining in a knot; the hook-fastener and loop of a kāṣāya robe").
