Wipe away and rub (抆摸: the first character is pronounced *wen* + *fen* [= *wěn*]; the second is pronounced *mo* [= *mō*]. The *Kaosheng* says: "*Wěn* means to put in order." The *Guangya* says: "*Wěn* means to wipe; to shake off." The *Chuci* says: "The orphan groans and wipes away tears."
