劈破（匹壁反埤蒼云剖也廣雅劈裂也說文云以刀中破也從刀辟聲從力非也）。

To split open (劈破): The fanqie is 匹 (p-) plus 壁 (-ik). The Picang states that it means to cleave. The Guangya states that 劈 means to tear apart. The Shuowen jiezi states that it means to split through the middle with a knife; it is formed with the knife radical (刀) and 辟 as the phonetic element; writing it with the strength radical (力) is incorrect.
