聒地（上官活反杜注左傳云聒讙也蒼頡篇云聒擾耳也說文讙語也從耳舌聲）。

聒地 (The first syllable is *guō* [guan + huo fanqie]. Du Yu's commentary on the Zuo zhuan says: "聒 (*guō*) means clamorous shouting." The Cangjie pian says: "聒 (*guō*) means disturbing the ears." The Shuowen jiezi says: "Clamorous speech; it is formed with 'ear' (耳) and 舌 as the phonetic component").
