抉目（上恚悅反左傳云以戈抉其膓也莊子云子胥抉眼也說文抉挑也從手夬聲）。

抉目 (The first syllable is *jué* [hui + yue fanqie]. The Zuo zhuan says: "Using a spear, he gouged out (抉) his intestines." The Zhuangzi says: "Wu Zixu's eyes were gouged out (抉)." The Shuowen jiezi says: "抉 (*jué*) means to pick or gouge out; it is formed with 'hand' (手) and 夬 as the phonetic component").
