除刮（下關滑反鄭注禮記云刮摩也考聲云橫刃剠之曰刮說文云刮揞把也從刀舌聲）。

除刮 (The lower character has the fanqie 關 [guan] + 滑 [hua]. Zheng [Xuan]'s commentary on the Liji says: '刮 means to scrape and rub.' The Kaosheng says: 'To scrape across with a blade is called 刮.' The Shuowen jiezi says: '刮 means to shave and peel.' It takes the knife radical with 舌 phonetic).
