坎窟（上堪敢反下坤骨反杜注左傳云窟地室也文字典說從穴屈聲也）。

Kǎnkū 坎窟 (pit and cavern: the upper [sounded with the fanqie] k- + [g]ǎn 堪敢反; the lower, k- + [g]ǔ 坤骨反. Du's commentary to the Zuo zhuan says: 'Kū 窟 is an underground chamber.' The Wenzi dianshuo says: 'It has radical 穴 [cave] with 屈 as phonetic component').
