枝竦（粟勇反廣雅云竦上也顧野王云竦高也說文從立從束束亦聲律文從耳作聳假借用亦通）。

Zhīsǒng 枝竦 (branches standing tall: [sǒng is sounded with the fanqie] s- + [y]ǒng 粟勇反. The Guangya says: 'Sǒng 竦 means up.' Gu Yewang says: 'Sǒng 竦 means high.' The Shuowen jiezi says it has radical 立 [stand] and 束 [bind], where 束 is also phonetic. In the vinaya text it is written with radical 耳 [ear] as 聳, which is an acceptable loan).
