打攥 ('strike and clutch'): [攥 is pronounced] with the fanqie 纂活. The Kaosheng says: '攥 (zuàn) means to pull and hold.' The Zilin says: 'To grasp.' The Wenzidian shuo says: '攥 means to take an object with the hand. It takes 手 (hand) as semantic component and 纂 as phonetic component.' 纂 is pronounced with the fanqie 子管. It is also written as 撮.
