拳毆（上倦圓反何休注公羊云拳掌握指也說文從手從卷省聲亦作捲下甌吼反考聲云敺擊也說文從殳作毆云捶擊也）。

拳毆 ('fist and strike'): the first character is [pronounced] with the fanqie 倦圓. He Xiu's commentary on the Gongyang [zhuan] says: '拳 (quán) means grasping and folding the fingers.' The Shuowen says it takes 手 (hand) as semantic component and has the abbreviated phonetic component 卷; it is also written as 捲. The second character is with the fanqie 甌吼. The Kaosheng says: '毆 (ōu) means to beat and strike.' The Shuowen writes it with 殳 as 毆, saying: 'To beat and strike.'
