梯隥（上體稽反賈逵注國語云梯階也古今正字云木階也從木弟聲下登鄧反說文從阝登聲律本從足作蹬非也）。

梯隥 (The upper character has the fanqie 體 [ti] + 稽 [ji]. Jia Kui's commentary on the Guoyu says: 'A 梯 is a stairway.' The Gujin zhengzi says: 'A wooden stairway.' It takes the wood radical with 弟 phonetic. The lower character has the fanqie 登 [deng] + 鄧 [deng]. The Shuowen jiezi says it takes the mound radical with 登 phonetic. The Vinaya text uses the foot radical to write 蹬, which is incorrect).
