Twisting rope (for the first [syllable, the fanqie is] 奴 + 和. The *Shuowen* says: "*Ruo* means to rub back and forth with the hands." It is composed of 手 [hand] with 妥 as phonetic. 妥 has the pronunciation [given by the fanqie] 唾 + 果).
