樵木（上誚遙反杜注左傳云樵薪也何休注公羊云以樵薪燒之故因謂之樵說文木也從木焦聲）。

Firewood (for the first [syllable, the fanqie is] 誚 + 遙. Du's commentary on the *Zuo tradition* says: "*Qiao* means firewood." He Xiu's commentary on the *Gongyang* says: "Because one burns firewood, it is therefore called *qiao*." The *Shuowen* says: "Wood." It is composed of 木 [wood] with 焦 as phonetic).
