髁麁（上誇化反蒼頡篇云骻兩股外也說文云髁髀也從骨果聲律文作跨俗字）。
Thick hip-bones (for the first [syllable, the fanqie is] 誇 + 化. The *Cangjiepian* says: "*Kua* means the outside of the two thighs." The *Shuowen* says: "*Ke* means the thigh-bone." It is composed of 骨 [bone] with 果 as phonetic. In Vinaya texts it is written as 跨, which is a popular form).
