噎噦（上煙結反毛詩云中心如噎也傳云噎不能息也古今正字飯窒也憂也從口壹聲下怨月反禮記云不敢噦噫也文字典說云噦氣啎也從口歲聲噫音於界反）。

噎噦 'choking and retching' (the first character is fanqie 煙結; the Mao Shijing says: 'My heart feels choked'; the commentary says: '噎 means unable to breathe'; the Gujin zhengzi says: 'food blocking [the throat]; also grief; it is formed from the mouth [radical] with 壹 phonetic'; the second character is fanqie 怨月; the Liji says: 'One does not dare to retch or belch'; the Wenzi dian shuo says: '噦 means breath coming into conflict; it is formed from the mouth [radical] with 歲 phonetic'; 噫 has the fanqie 於界).
