歙煙（上歆急反考聲云歙亦吸字也說文云歙縮鼻也從欠翕聲翕音上同下鷰賢反蒼頡篇云煙熅也說文云火氣也從火垔聲垔音因律文作烟俗字也）。

歙煙 (inhaling smoke; the first character is pronounced 歆急反. The Kaosheng states: “Xi is also the character xi (吸).” The Shuowen states: “Xi means twitching the nose; it is derived from 'yawn' (欠) with xi as phonetic component.” Xi has the same sound as above. The second character is pronounced 鷰賢反. The Cangjie pian states: “Smoke billowing.” The Shuowen states: “Fiery vapor; it is derived from 'fire' (火) with yin as phonetic component.” Yin is pronounced 因. In the Vinaya text, it is written as 烟, which is a vulgar character).
