Lotus tip (蓮梢): the second character is pronounced with the fanqie shao-chao (shao). The Kaosheng states: "Shao means the end or tip." The Wenzi dianshuo states: "The very tip; it takes 'wood' (木) as semantic classifier and has xiao (肖) as phonetic component."
